Next time you're hungry in the Iowa Great Lakes, make use of the Okoboji Restaurant Locator. I put this together tonight as a quick reference to the restaurants here. It uses the Google Maps API, and is really slick and easy to use. Dig it!

Most people who know me know that I'm an audiophile of sorts, with a large collection of music. I'm also a huge fan of live music, especially bands that I have immediate access to. Living here gives me a great opportunity to see some very talented musicians at some of the local establishments. I've even become good friends with a few of the musicians. I forgot to mention that we frigging stuffed ourselved at Cheesecake Factory last night. The food was awesome! Mmmm... Key lime pie... Anyhow, The race today was great, and now we're in Sioux City. Going to watch the fireworks here in a bit with Alicia and Jereme. I'll get at least one pic of the IRL race up later, but I don't have my camera cable along with. Ah, such is life...

Hello from Kansas City! The kid and I are in town to catch the Craftsman trucks and Indy cars at Kansas Speedway tomorrow and Sunday. Then up to Sioux City to see Sis and J. Home Monday or Tuesday, whichever we decide. I'll post pictures if I can, but my camera's battery doesn't seem to want to hold a charge for longer than 15 or 20 minutes... Luckily, there's a Best Buy right up the street. If the battery pack is shot, I'll pick one up there... Or, maybe it's time for Bubba to get a new camera. I've had my eye on one for a little while now. Hmmm... Maybe... Later!
